Wheelie Latvia offers a motorcycle wheelie training program where you can learn to control a motorcycle in extreme situations. Thanks to our instructor and our step-by-step program, we can teach these skills very quickly.

What is the Wheelie Machine?

It is an equipped trailer designed to lift the front wheel of a motorcycle.

Why is this type of trainer necessary?
To feel the balance point of the motorcycle and practice using the rear brakes.

During training, you will work on overcoming fear in extreme situations and maintaining the balance point using throttle and rear brakes.

You will refine your skills for more precise control of the throttle, clutch, and brakes, which will significantly improve your everyday riding.

A Wheelie Machine instructor will guide you on how to reach the balance point and monitor your progress throughout the training.

The Wheelie Trainer offers indescribable sensations and a guaranteed adrenaline boost!

Individual Training

Individual training allows for personalized guidance and focused practice on your specific skills. During the session, you'll work one-on-one with an instructor who will tailor the training to your needs.

The training takes place on multiple levels, gradually progressing and tailored to each rider's learning speed.

Initially, we focus on the basics – finding the balance point on the Wheelie Machine using throttle and rear brakes. Next, we learn to lift the front wheel off the ground using the clutch. During this phase, we use the Wheelie "Spider". Once all the skills are mastered, we practice side balance using a Pitbike or Trial motorcycle.

These are sessions where you can go with your friends and leisurely practice your skills in motorcycle "lifting" and control.
On training days, we offer the opportunity to learn Level 1 training on the Wheelie Machine stand, focusing on maintaining the motorcycle's balance point and using the rear brakes.

On the Wheelie stand, you can use your own motorcycle and practice controlling it.

For this service, we offer both the Wheelie Machine and Wheelie Spider equipment, allowing you to practice balance point control, brake and clutch management, as well as lifting the front wheel off the ground.

How Does a Wheelie Training Session Work?

Wheelie training sessions are designed to help you master the art of controlling your motorcycle in extreme situations. Here’s how it typically works:

Initial Briefing: The instructor will give you a quick overview of the equipment, the techniques involved, and the safety measures. You’ll discuss your experience and goals for the session.
Balance Point Practice: You’ll start by learning how to find and maintain the balance point using the Wheelie Machine or Wheelie Spider, focusing on throttle control, rear brake use, and clutch management.
Front Wheel Lifting: Once you’re comfortable with the balance point, you'll practice lifting the front wheel using the clutch, with the instructor providing guidance and feedback.
Skill Refinement: As you progress, you'll refine your skills with more advanced techniques, such as side balancing and better throttle, clutch, and brake control.
Personalized Attention: Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced rider, the instructor will adjust the training to your skill level and provide ongoing support.

Throughout the session, the goal is to gradually build your confidence, improve control, and safely practice essential skills.
The Wheelie training program is divided into several levels, progressing gradually:

Level: Learn to maintain the balance point using the Wheelie Machine trailer.
Level: Learn to lift the motorcycle off the ground using the clutch. In this phase, the Wheelie Spider is used.
Level: Practice all the skills gained on a Pitbike or Trial motorcycle.

- Training with our motorcycle: 120 € / hour
Level 2 - Wheelie Spider:
- Training with our motorcycle: 50 € / hour
- Training with your own motorcycle: 50 € / hour

How long does it take to learn basic skills?

The time required to learn the basic skills depends on each rider's individual abilities and prior experience.
People from abroad usually come to us for 3-4 full training days, where they acquire the basic skills, which they then practice and develop independently.

The main reason to attend our training is to develop essential body reflexes for handling extreme situations while riding a motorcycle and to learn the fundamentals of controlled wheelie riding.

Training with Your Own Motorcycle

How Do Training Sessions with Your Own Motorcycle Work?

Level 1:
The motorcycle is mounted and secured on the Wheelie stand (the motorcycle’s rear axle must be through the stand). For 60 minutes, the instructor will guide you to achieve the goal: lifting the front wheel, maintaining the balance point, and controlling the motorcycle. The allotted time is 1 hour.

Level 2:
Once the basic skills are mastered, the motorcycle is secured on the Wheelie Spider equipment, where you will practice lifting the front wheel off the ground. The session duration is 1 hour.

Level 3:
After completing the previous levels, you will be given a specialized motorcycle to practice the skills you’ve learned.

Group training days are organized where you can join with friends or fellow riders to practice together in a supportive and fun environment. During these sessions, the instructor will focus on guiding the group through the various stages of wheelie training.

These sessions allow you to learn from one another, challenge each other, and progress as a group, all while receiving personalized attention from the instructor. Group training is a great way to experience wheelie training together with others and have fun!
